Hamaton offers time-saving OE replacement TPMS solution

08-02-2017

Hamaton Ltd, the European headquarters of its parent company - leading TPMS manufacturer, Hamaton Automotive Technology Co. Ltd - has seen increasing popularity in its OE replacement sensors throughout the recent tyre change-over seasons.

Following its launch last year, the OE-R sensor has become a valuable time-saving addition to vehicle servicing centres across Europe. During the busy winter and summer tyre change-over seasons, it is important that TPMS sensor replacement is made as quick and easy as possible for servicing technicians. Therefore, as there is no need to spend time configuring these sensors for different vehicles, the OE-R sensor is an inexpensive and efficient solution that allows garages to save a significant amount of time when it comes to sensor replacement.

OE-R sensors are pre-programmed, direct replacements for OE sensors. OE-R sensors operate in the same way as OE sensors, in that additional programming or configuration is not needed – the sensors can be fitted, and are fully functional following the standard OE relearn procedure relevant to the vehicle.

Hamaton’s OE-R sensors come with a dual valve case which allows for independent replacement of the valve stem, as well as the ability to exchange between metal and rubber valves. Equipped with an alloy wheel protector, the Clamp-In valve also prevents damage to alloy wheels during installation.

The replacement sensors also come with a substantial warranty, covering the sensor for 3 years* or 40,000 kilometers; whichever comes first. As they are manufactured in a TÜV-certified environment, customers have the assurance that the sensors are meticulously tested and confirmed by global quality standards. Additionally, Hamaton’s OE-R sensors cover over 90% of vehicles on the market, have a battery life in excess of 7 years, and are designed to be compatible with both OE and aftermarket wheels.

*Please note: while the sensor itself has a warranty of 3 years; the valve is covered separately for 2 years.
